Youβre getting tired of just surviving through a day, you want to feel resilient and confident. Maybe you have found it hard to feel connefound yourself here because there is something in your life that is bringing you pain. Iβm here to tell you that you do not have to walk through this alone. I honor the courage and vulnerability and consider it a privilege to hold space for meaningful change and healing with my clients, and I wcted to your others recently - and perhaps even yourself. You are tired of having the same problems over and over again. I imagine you have ould love to opportunity to support you in your own process.
I work with clients from all walks of life (child/adolescents/adults). Some of my other fruitful endeavors include partnering as an assessment staff member with a local psychiatric and substance abuse hospital, serving as a undergraduate and graduate professor at Houston Christian University and Colorado Christian, and providing supervision to graduate level therapists. When I am not in the office, I'm enjoying time with my family, kayaking, or building a woodworking project.
Credentials & Training
Iβm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 10 years of experience supporting patients, and their families, in mental health services. My specializations relate to issues including depression, anxiety, fertility/postpartum, intimacy and relationship issues. I'm also a trained Gottman Level 3 therapist. I'm passionate about partnering with individuals and couples as they navigate their journey of becoming a parent and family β including postpartum mental health and fertility/prenatal. I utilize a variety of approaches when working with clients including client centered therapy, discernment therapy, Gottman Method, attachment based, narrative therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I may additionally incorporate mindfulness practices, play therapy, and art into my therapeutic interventions dependent on the goals of the client.
