Self-Care Wheel Reflection Questions
Taking care of ourselves is more than bubble baths and quiet moments—it’s about tending to every part of our well-being. The Self-Care Wheel reminds us that true wellness is multi-dimensional, touching not just our physical or emotional needs, but also our relationships, environment, boundaries, values, and the ways we stay connected to joy and meaning. When we pause to reflect across each area, we gain a fuller picture of what nourishes us and where we may be running on empty. Below are gentle reflection questions to help you check in with yourself and identify where you might need more support, replenishment, or intention.
What Is the Self-Care Wheel?
The Self-Care Wheel is a holistic wellness framework designed to help individuals care for themselves across multiple areas of life—not just physically or emotionally. It highlights nine key dimensions of well-being (environment, boundaries, support, relationships, values, hobbies, physical health, community, and mindfulness) and encourages regular reflection to create balance between them.
Rather than viewing self-care as a single act or occasional treat, the Self-Care Wheel helps us understand it as an ongoing lifestyle of tending to our needs, honoring our limits, and nurturing personal growth in sustainable, meaningful ways.
